Grapefruit Seed Extract

Dear Dr,
My son has candida and enterobacter cloacae 4+, both are sensitive to grape fruit seed. He is five year old and his wight is 14kg. How much mg per day do you recomend to treat both, and for how much time.

I don’t commonly pay attention to milligrams per body weight of a botanical remedy like this. I use the NutriBiotic Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) that New Beginnings carries and dose based on taste tolerance, which for most kids is between 3 to 6 drops three times daily mixed in diluted citrus juice.

Also, I really like the Biocidin Liquid too that New Beginnings Nutritionals carries and use 3 drops three times daily with kids of that age, along with the GSE.

Hi Dr,
The 13 april I started with biocidin with my son, only 2drops in the morning and 2 at night, and the 20 april he started with an important rash in the back, chest and stomach, today 21 is in the face and legs, could it be because of the biocidin??,or is it probably another type of allergy/ (I call the doctor and she told me is it allergy and indicate me prednisolone and Chlorpheniramine maleate)….should I continue with biocidin???

I don’t know if its the Biocidin or not, but I would personally stop it. Its possible that it could be the Biocidin.
