Constipation, GI Detox/Biocidin

Hi Dr Woeller

Natan began to get Biocidin and I think it makes him bloated. 2 days ago I gave him 1 capsule of GI Detox and it made him so constipated and gassy he cried from stomachache, so I stopped. I continued with the Biocidin, and the pain seems to disappear, he has partly constipated partly loose BM, and the belly is still distent. Please advise – should I try GI detox again, may be lower dose? Should I continue Biocidin higher/lower dose? Should I continue GSE with the Biocidin?

Maria,
I think its important to continue to try these supplements. See if you can get him use to the GI Detox+ for now, even at 1/2 capsule per dose. If needed, you can try and add some more magnesium to add as a laxative. It’s not normal for GI Detox+ to cause such problems which ultimately means his digestive system is not healthy being full of poop is not healthy.

Do you have access to pediatric suppositories or enema’s?

Ok, Ill try 1/2 and look for suppositories, never tried them before because he always had the opposite problem

A pediatric suppository can work great in clearing the lower bowel which is usually the problem area for retained stool.
